The nursing home provides individual rooms with shared ensuites and 2 double rooms which can be ideal for couples.

The hostel provides individual rooms each with their own ensuite.

There are adjoining rooms for couples to share accommodation.

The Hostel:room
Rangeview’s hostel has 30 beds - 29 permanent and one respite, each room with its own ensuite.  There is a main lounge with a gas log fire and TV and also 2 smaller sitting rooms, one of which has a dining setting for relatives to share a meal with their resident.  The main hostel dining room caters for 30 residents at the moment.

Features of the hostel:

  • freshly cooked meals on site served directly to the hostel dining room at lunch and tea time
  • residents invited to join in resident monthly meetings with nursing home residents
  • staff assist residents at breakfast according to their ability to self serve

The Nursing Home:
The 30 bed nursing home has shared ensuite bathrooms.  It includes 2 double rooms, each with an ensuite, which are ideal for couples.

The nursing home rooms allow for a small amount of personal furniture to enable residents to make their environment special, something which staff encourage.  The rooms have linoleum floors which allows effective cleaning and maintains freshness.
Rooms have windows which look out to the external gardens or the greenery in the courtyard. The rooms are heated in Winter by a central hydronic system and cooled in Summer with a ducted evaporated system.
